Middle Wallop is arguably the UK's biggest kite festival which takes place annually each May Bank Holiday. Near Andover it's about 1.5hr drive from London with on-site camping available.
If you are planning to attend and kite at this event you will need arrange insurance beforehand (click here for details on insurance).

Static kite flying and traction kiting are allowed within the designated areas. However you will need to take proff of valid BPKA insurance. Avoid runway where possible.
