Kite Hire Terms + Conditions

Kite hire is solely provided on the basis of same day hire when Kitevibe instructors are present. Once your agreed hire period has expired the kite hire pack (kite, helmets, pad sets and ground stake) must be returned to Kitevibe the same day as it was collected.

The hirer is responsible for any damage or loss caused to the hired equipment including in the case of theft or robbery.

In the unlikely event that there is a fault, (or if you believe there to be fault) with any of the supplied equipment you are to stop flying immediately. Please return the complete kite kit straight away whereupon we will investigate your concerns and make a repair, replacement or organise a complete refund to be made.

If a hirer vandalises or incorrectly uses the kite (or any part of the supplied kite equipment) Kitevibe reserves the right to retrieve it without any refund of the hire charge and with any costs of retrieval to be met by the hirer.

Upon payment of your kite hire pack this confirms an acceptance of these conditions on behalf of the hirer. The kite hirer will also agree to follow any instructions given to them by Kitevibe (or its representatives) in the interests of safety.

Kite hirage will only to be made available to the former students of Kitevibe who have already attended a 4 line kite course as a minimum. This is non-negotiable.

Please note: children (10-18yrs old) must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times whilst they are flying their kite.


If you are booking online you are entitled to a 7 day cooling off period during which you can claim a refund. If you have already used your hired kite course during this period, this will not apply. If you are cancelling a booking within 24 hours of ordering (whilst not immediately prior to collection of your kite pack), a full refund will be issued.

If your payment was made using a credit card, any refunds will be credited to the same credit card account that made the booking.

Please be aware that due to the policies of different card providers, refunds can take up to 30 days to appear on some cards.

As a matter of course, Kitevibe will send you a transaction number to show you when we initiated your refund.


Should you wish to cancel your booking please notify us of your intention as soon as possible by emailing: . or phoning us on: 07866 430979. Failure to collect your kite pack without reasonable prior notification (i.e. 24hrs) is not refundable.

Please be aware that kite flying is sensitive to weather conditions. Whilst we have a range of kites to suit different wind conditions, should we judge that the weather is unsuitable (excessive winds, rain, storm forecasts etc.), we will contact you to advise a different collection date.

Should kitevibe need to cancel a kite hire collection (for any reason) we will contact you (beforehand where possible) to arrange an alternative collection date or offer you a full refund.


Please note that refunds are based on the currency of the original payment. Any loss in conversion rate fees is due to normal market fluctuation and Kitevibe cannot reimburse you for any loss due to conversion rate differences.
